Studies on the Correlation between Hyperthyroidism and Liver Function

Abstract
|
|
|
The case material were fifty six cases of hyperthyroid´sm who visited to medical department, Pusar.. National University Hospital from Jan. 1968 to Sept. 1969.
Liver function test especially, Bromsulghalein test (B. S. P.) was carried out before "TI treatment and 2 months after treatment.
The results were summarized as follows:
1. In 14 cases out of 56 patients (32. 1%), it showed abnormal B. S. P. retention before treatment.
2. 72.2% of the cases with abnormal B. S.?P. retention in premeditated group have returned to normal value after treatment.
3. It seemed to have no relationship between abnormal B. S. P. retention and duration. of disease. 4. The abnormal B. S. P. retention group have a tendency of high uptake rate of 119 correlatively.
